Hello, everyone and Happy Monday! Today’s post is another outfit of the day and it’s this super cute black bodycon dress. This is a really simple but cute outfit. That’s the beautiful thing about dresses. You don’t have to worry about matching anything else except for the shoes (and accessories if you want) and I love that. So easy. I’ve had this one for quite some time now, but I don’t think I’ve ever showed it to you all. I’m having quite a busy week this week with schoolwork and just life, and with Mercury still in retrograde, I’ve had my fair share of mood swings and it’s not even that time of the month for me. Anyway, I hope you like the ‘fit.

Statement Choker || OOTD

Hello, everyone! Today I have an outfit post for you all! This outfit is super simple, but fashionable and I just love it. I think it’s perfect for the more brisk spring days, but you can always swap out to jeans for shorts or long sleeve for a short sleeve. Also, the choker isn’t actually a choker. It’s actually a headband and I tied it at the back. Very innovative of me, I know. If you don’t know where to get a choker that looks like this, just go to your local drugstore or a Wal Mart or something, and just find a headband!

Tea Time #8

Hello, everyone and Happy Monday! Last week was pretty messy. I really like doing these little update posts every other week, rather than every week. I am really only able to post once a week, and I know you all want to see things other than what’s going on in my life. Anyway, please make sure to vote on the poll at the very bottom of this post so I know what you want to see next from me! Enjoy!

So, I woke up on Monday morning feeling disgustingThat Sunday I woke up feeling a little congested and started taking some cold-symptom medicine, but, oh mama, it did NOT help at all. My throat hurt so bad and my nose was very congested. I got ready in twenty minutes, pulled a no-makeup Monday, and went on with my day. Before heading to school I took a couple Airbornes, a vitamin c, and took some Dayquil. As the day progressed, I felt a little better, because I was more awake, but I still felt pretty sick. Tuesday was about the same, but I did feel a little worse. I lost my voice a little bit and I was so, so tiredI went home and took a nap from 3 to 6:30. Wednesday was the absolute worst day of the week, I completely lost my voice, my throat felt so swollen and irritated, my nose was blocked and runny, I had a terrible cough, I had a 99.9 degree fever, and it was just a gross day.

I went on a field trip two fridays ago and another one last tuesday. I also had this orchestra assessment two thursdays ago, but I only missed Spanish class for that. Missing three days of Spanish class is the worst thing that has ever happened to me. I literally missed two quizzes, a project, and five sets of notes. I am making up the last quiz tomorrow, but I am so stressed about that. When I lost my voice on Wednesday, my teacher didn’t care and had called in me at least three times to speak Spanish. I could barely talk and was wondering if her calling on me all those times was some sort of sick joke. I also had a Spanish test on Monday and Tuesday. (We’ve discussed this, but in case you don’t know my teacher does, speaking, reading, and writing tests, and spreads it out over two days). There were topics I had to learn myself, and it was not a good time at all, I learn best in class, with the teacher teaching it to me. It’s Sunday as I’m typing this and I still haven’t completely mastered everything that I needed to for the test tomorrow and Tuesday, pray for me. The only other classes I missed were gym and chem II, and I only had to make up a quiz in chem, so that was chill.

I started feeling better on Friday, and my voice only completely came back today (Sunday). I still have a little bit of a cough and a blocked, runny nose, but my throat doesn’t hurt anymore, and my voice is back. I was super consistent on working out two weeks ago, but ever since Sunday when I started feeling so sick, I haven’t exercised once, unless you count gym class. This week, I’m super determined and motivated so start working out again since I feel so much better.

The last quarter of the school year starts on Wednesday, and I am so ready for a fresh start. I love change, and clean slates, so I am just so excited. I’m so ready to bounce back this week too, since I was feeling so bad all of last week. I wore makeup once that wee, in attempt to feel a little better, but it didn’t really work. Not that I feel that I need makeup or anything, I just feel a little more put together, you know? I’m so ready to be productive and feel a lot better, and work out consistently, and everything. It’s going to be a beautiful week full of new beginnings, light, and love.

Last week we took an L, but this week we bounce back, just as Big Sean said (he said last night and tonight, but you’re picking up what I’m putting down). I hope you enjoyed this post, and you have an amazing rest of your day/week! Hello my lovely friends, happy Sunday! Today’s post is an outfit post! I got this beautiful embroidered bomber jacket from Zara. Floral embroidery is super trendy right now, and is so beautiful. This jacket was worth $100 and I got it on sale for $50. Fifty dollars, people. I fell in love as soon as I laid my eyes on it. I suppose you could call it love at first sight. Anyway, that’s about all I have to talk to you about!

Fur Coat & Thigh Highs


Happy Sunday, loves! Ahhhhh! I have an outfit post up! I know that these pictures are not as high quality and amazing as my outfit posts usually are, but I thought that this would suffice. We’re pretty well into March, and we’re just now getting snow. So annoying. December-February it maybe snowed once or twice where I live, and now that it’s supposed to be spring time and getting warmer, there’s a freaking blizzard. Groan. Anyway, I got this fur coat and this pair of thigh high boots a little while ago and I love them! This outfit is super simple, but super put together and perfect for the winter time. The fur coat is actually super, super warm, especially with the turtleneck.

Tea Time #7 || Chanel in a Nutshell

Hello, everyone and happy Wednesday! I haven’t done a tea time post in a while so I decided to write one today and update you on what is going on in my life. This was supposed to go up on Sunday but I didn’t finish telling you all everything that I wanted to. So, in my last Tea Time post, I told you all about my new classes for this semester when I just started them. I’ll give you a little update on how I’m feeling about each of my new classes, on life and how i’m feeling in general, and just some random things that I want to tell you about. I hope you enjoy!

I’ll start of with Spanish II. I still feel pretty much the same about Spanish class. I’m still surrounded by freshman and the class is still suuuuuuuper boring. My teacher is kind and does a good job with teaching and all, but I don’t feel all that connected with her I’ve never had a problem with her or even gotten yelled at or anything, I just don’t mesh with her or feel comfortable enough to have deep, passionate conversation with her. I get along with all of my teachers really, really well. My English teacher from last semester, so far is my absolute favorite teacher that I’ve had in high school. I know this is only my second year of high school, but I absolutely loved him. In that class we read and wrote a lot of great things and we talked about deep topics and issues and had really important, passionate conversations in that class.That is definitely the class that I miss the most. Anyway, that class also moves pretty quickly for a class that is supposed to be regularly paced. Two foreign language classes are required and you do not have the option to do honors for levels one and two in my school. I can keep up and I have an A in the class and all, I just feel it’s a little too fast paced for a regular class. But, I’ve been trying to tell myself that I love Spanish class so that I don’t dread going to it every single day for the rest of this school year and so that I am more excited and happy when i’m in that class.

I never thought that I would say this, but I actually love gym class. We finished our badminton and volleyball units already and we are doing archery right now. I am not very good at archery naturally, but I think it’s fun and that the more that I do it in class the better I will get. I don’t really know where my skill level is, it’;s pretty inconsistent. Sometimes I’ll shoot in the middle, sometimes i’ll shoot at the outside lines. Hmmmm. We also go to the local bowling alley every other Thursday, which is amazing. I love bowling and the food that they have at our bowling alley is bombTheir curly fries are my favorite thing.  I don’t really have much to say about gym class other than that. Complete opposite about that argumentative essay that I wrote about Spanish class, lmao.

Chem II has gotten sooooo much better. The class has definitely picked up speed and it’s getting harder. When I wrote my last Tea Time, we were in our safety and review (from chem I) unit, so it was pretty easy and going by at a constant, steady speed. Not too much work, but not too little at the same time. Now we are onto unit two and it definitely was a faster pace than the first unit. I had my unit test for Unit 1 on February 28th and we are taking our unit test for Unit 2 this Friday. Wiiiild, right?!

So, that’s pretty much the update on school. Tuesday was a snow day and I stayed home and finished writing this post and caught up on schoolwork. I was supposed to have an orchestra concert that day, but we got snowed in, so I’m not sure when that’s supposed to be rescheduled. I’ve recently been really obsessed with Kim Thai on YouTube. I’ve recently subscribed to her, and I love her! She uploads weekly vlogs and they’re so long and so so amazing. Kim is such a kind soul and a sweetheart and I’ve been binge-watching her so much lately. I really recommend you all check out her channel. I also have been obsessed with Rae Sremmurd. If you haven’t listened to their music before, get your butt onto you Spotify account (or whatever music service you use) and listen to their latest album SremmLife 2. It’s so so so lit (I know, I know. The word lit” is so cringey) and it’s almost all I’ve been listening to.

I really want to do a favorites or things I’ve been loving post because there are a few things I want to tell you all about that I’ve been loving for a while, not even just this month. I’m having a two-hour delay Wednesday morning (when you all are reading this), so I think i’m going to make myself a nice breakfast. I wake up at a good time but I never have enough time to have a quality breakfast. I usually eat a cinnamon-raisin bagel and then take my green tea (with almond milk and some honey) in a travel mug to-go with me. I really want to make some waffles, so hopefully I have enough time to do that.
